Scottish Farm Shop Suppers is a place for me to document my explorations of Scottish food history and culinary culture.

Having failed to find an academic course which exactly offers the curriculum I wanted to study, I decided to put together my own, combining practical explorations of cooking, tasting and visiting regional Scottish food producers, and readings in Scottish history, cookery books and biographies.

I am fortunate that I live in an area and during a period where food is in the ascendant, so this blog will also operate as a journal of my discoveries.

I am writing for myself, but if you have stumbled across this, please say hi, and let me know if you’re a fellow culinary explorer.
